OUR CLUB

OBIO AKPOR FOOTBALL CLUB is an amatuer football club based in the sub area of the city of Port Harcourt, founded on 28 November 2020 by former amatuer football player AMEOBI STEPHEN who played for ALOGU WARRIORS, SUPER STIKERS and ROYAL PHOENIX. 

After the merging of SHARKS FC and DOLPHINS FC to RIVERS UNITED the people of Obio Akpor craved for their own home town team that will compete in top level football in the country.

As football kept growing in the neighbouring towns and cities, ours was in turmoil of war and bunkering. Football lost its place in our heart. Our youths were involved in cultism which led to beheading and gunfight, we don't play football no more and nobody cared.

OBIO AKPOR FC logo is made up of three(3) unique colors

1. BLACK which represents her people 
2. GREEN which represents her fertile land
3. GOLD  which represents the oil rich city of OBIO AKPOR

OBIO AKPOR people are known to be farmers which made us adopted the palm tree in the local goverment council logo.
